Flash Fiction Cabal Seeks New Members

by Rudi Dornemann

The Daily Cabal, a small group of writers who from their ranks publish one flash fiction piece every weekday (since March of 2007, with over 850 stories now posted), is for the first time taking open applications for new members.

The Daily Cabal specializes in speculative fiction pieces, but is open to including writers who work with other kinds of stories. We encourage writers from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds to apply.

Membership in the Cabal involves contributing on average about one new flash fiction piece of 400 words or less every two weeks (or more often, if desired). There is no money involved, only the exposure of getting your work read and the challenge of the task.

To apply, please send 2 flash fiction pieces (maximum 1,000 words, 400 words or less being preferred) to dailycabal@gmail.com. The reading period will begin Monday, August 2nd. Initial response time is generally less than two weeks. We apologize in advance that we will not be able to accept all applicants due to the need to find a good fit with the current group of authors.

All past Daily Cabal stories can be found on our Web site at www.dailycabal.com.
